The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. Provides vision, direction, leadership and oversight for both the UNM Health Sciences Center's Web presence and the UNM Health System web presence. The Health Sciences Center is the state's single, largest employer and the UNM Health System is the state's only level 1 trauma center and the largest provider of health services in the state. Serves as the primary point of contact on Web-related issues including overall strategy, site design and development, messaging, written and multimedia content creation, website templates, content management tools, analytics, usability, and information architecture. Acts as the chief evangelist promoting the public facing web site using appropriate methods of web messaging, communication and community building based on a in depth understanding of the Health Sciences Center, UNM Health and the Web. Collaborates with HSC Administration, faculty, staff, students and the local health community to promote effective communications between these groups within the public web communications channel based on the HSC's vision, mission and strategic goals. Manages the HSC Web Team.
