Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversees and quality controls the official staff job description database for the University, participating in the planning and design of job description policies, standards, and formats; develops and implements new or revised job descriptions, as appropriate.
  2. Performs a wide variety of assignments which are sometimes confidential in nature; operates personal computer to enter data, draft, edit, revise, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials.
  3. Greets and directs visitors, resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; maintains log of inquiries as required.
  4. Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail; drafts or prepares responses to routine inquiries; and operates a variety of office equipment.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of structured programming, testing, and debugging techniques.
  • Ability to perform acceptance testing on computer systems, applications, and hardware.
  • Skill in the use of computer for technical and communication applications.

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and/or kinesiology.
