The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. They should not be viewed as an exhaustive list of the specific duties and prerequisites applicable to individual positions that have been so classified.
Provides professional, operational, and administrative oversight to the various activities of the Law School Student and Career Services Center, to include assisting current UNM law students and alumni by identifying their interests and areas of strengths as attorneys, preparing graduating law students for the bar exam and for job candidacy within the legal sector, providing professional development resources, and providing assistance on student wellness issues, academic grievances, externships, and student organization issues. Manages projects, serves as liaison between the center and potential employers, provides outreach to the community, and represents the center to university and external entities.
The University of New Mexico provides all training required by OSHA to ensure employee safety.
