The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. They should not be viewed as an exhaustive list of the specific duties and prerequisites applicable to individual positions that have been so classified.
Develops, leads, coordinates, implements, and assesses integrated academic student success programs aimed to improve students' academic performance, demonstrate students' achievement of desired learning outcomes, and increase graduates' success on the bar examination. Collaborates with faculty and administration to design, implement and assess an academic achievement program and a bar preparation program at the School of Law. Collaborates with faculty and administration to align student learning outcomes and assessments with academic, governmental, and legal professional standards, as well as with the School of Law's mission, goals, and strategic plan. Develops and implements strategic and operating plans, and interprets, adapts, and integrates university policies and procedures, as appropriate, to meet the needs of the department. Manages all staff engaged in student success activities for the department and serves as a member of the management team in planning, problem resolution and reviewing department performance.
