As the chief Human Resources Officer for the University, provides strategic leadership and direction to all facets of human resources management as it pertains to non-faculty staff in all components of the University and its branches. Directs the management of the various component activities of the University's Human Resources Department, ensuring that all HR programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the institution. Directly participates in institutional planning and decision making as a member of the University's Executive Cabinet, and provides broad administrative leadership and coordination to the University Administration Division as designated by the Executive Vice President. To enhance institutional administrative functions and to strengthen the overall University and its impact, has key responsibility for achieving the UNM 2040 Opportunity Defined Strategic Planning Framework - One University goal and its objective of identifying gaps and prioritizing areas for streamlining, integrating, and improving administrative systems and processes, in order to provide coordinated, efficient, and high-quality services.
