The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. Provides generalist human resources services associated with Faculty Executives and Faculty within core areas of the university, such as: Academic Affairs Division, including branch campuses; Health Science Center Faculty Contracts; School of Medicine Faculty Affairs. Provides advice and assistance to client constituents on faculty employment activity related to recruitment, hiring, contracting, and other faculty employment activity and services in accordance to university policies, regulations, and procedures for Faculty in all academic, research, and clinical components of the university. Provides consultative direction to academic units on best practices specific to Faculty employment activity and participates in process improvements, training and educational programs related to Faculty employment processes and policies, as appropriate.
The University of New Mexico provides all training required by OSHA to ensure employee safety.
