Provides direction and leadership on the development and University-wide implementation of safety and regulatory compliance programs. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and standards involving environmental management, chemical control, industrial hygiene, general campus safety and fire safety. Reviews and analyzes data and devises risk minimization programs.
The University of New Mexico provides all training required by OSHA to ensure employee safety.
