Summary
Under the direction of the Title IX Coordinator within the Office of Compliance, Ethics, & Equal Opportunity, oversees comprehensive investigations of complex and/or multiple claims, preparation of narrative reports, and implementation and monitoring of programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and University policies and procedures. Participates in the development and delivery of trainings and curriculum. Provides advice and consultation to the University community on complex topics and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports compliance staff in the management of the grievance process; ensures timely resolution of civil rights cases. Assists with the effectuation of supportive measures and remedies as necessary and provides conflict resolution services including conflict coaching, mediation/conferencing facilitation, and problem-solving, as assigned.
Collaborates in developing, implementing, coordinating, and conducting educational programs and initiatives designed to educate and support faculty, staff, and students regarding their rights and, where applicable, obligations under Title IX, including reporting options/responsibilities, support services, University policy and applicable disciplinary code, grievance procedures, confidential resources, etc.
Coordinates educational materials and training programs to ensure the University's civil rights and sexual misconduct-related training, and related material are current with University policy and procedures and comply with federal regulations, laws, guidance, and best practices.
Contributes to and reports on violence risk assessments in collaboration with investigators, and participates with the UNM Threat Assessment Team, as needed.
Coordinates the collection and analysis of data describing trends, patterns, and risk areas related to Title IX.
Facilitates the identification of systemic problems relating to complaints of sex-based discrimination and recommends responses.
Develops, designs, and writes educational materials, including brochures, resource guides, SOPs, templates, presentation slide decks, posters, social media posts, and web-based material.
Monitors, and tracks training and annual requirements to ensure ongoing compliance with Title IX.
Collaborates with leadership and campus constituencies to disseminate information, redesign processes, and support the University's investigative processes; collaborates and coordinates with compliance partners within the department and across the institution to support the University's overlapping compliance needs and responsibilities.
Serves as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Conditions of Employment
Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
