The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. Plans and coordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of a narrowly defined, contract or grant funded program/project or set of funded activities. The program/project is usually focused to a single purpose, may be scientific, research, educational, or service oriented, and may exist as a subset of an integrated, grant-funded program activity. Duties typically include assisting with grant planning and administration, fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions, program implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative liaison, program marketing, and reporting. This is typically a term position tied to the contract/grant funding period, which requires approval by Human Resources prior to use.
