The following statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels characteristic of positions assigned to this classification. Administers and facilitates the pre-award grant preparation and submission process for a major operating unit of the University. Advises and assists departments with process and compliance issues related to funding agency regulations and standards, and oversees adherence to university administrative, fiscal, and accounting policies and procedures related to grant proposals. Coordinates other associated activities as appropriate, and provides leadership to lower level staff on a project basis.
The University of New Mexico provides all training required by OSHA to ensure employee safety.
