Manages and oversees the development and implementation of organizational change programs aimed at improving individual and organizational performance university-wide. Oversees the initiation and completion of large-scale instructional, systems, and operational change management and development projects, and manages the design and development of associated educational and training programs. Manages and supervises the work of a diverse team of professional, technical, and administrative support staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees strategic organizational development functions to include multiple scale services and programs both individual and university wide.
Oversees the initiation and completion of large-scale instructional, systems, and operational change management and development projects.
Oversees the design and development of associated educational and training programs.
Serves as subject matter expert to the university in management, leadership, and organizational development.
Conducts needs assessments to identify and evaluate individual and/or group training requirements for employees university-wide.
Plans, designs, develops, and delivers individual and/or group training and instructional programs, using instructor-led, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods and formats.
Manages and coordinates all day-to-day activities of the EOD Department, to include staffing and hiring, training and development, work allocation and prioritization, performance evaluation, and performance management of departmental staff.
Participates in overall organizational decision making as a member of the divisional senior management team.
Maintains departmental reports and records; collects statistical data for administrative and/or quality improvement purposes.
May participate in the development and implementation of operating budgets, systems, and procedures for the operating unit.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Knowledge of web-based training programs and familiarity with web tools.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort
No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
Work is normally performed in an interior/office or workshop environment.
